Eg hadde fått to brev om pakkar som venta på Posten, so eg for no nedom med handlenettet mitt i dag for å hente det eg trudde var to pakkar.
Translation: I went to pick up what I thought was two packages that were waiting for me at the Post Office, but I soon figured there were eight of them. Inside the patterned package, which did not blend too well with my skirt, was an adorable mini thermos with owls on, and in one of the other packages I found the most beautiful version of Pride and Prejudice I've ever seen. Seeing it was the first real sunny day in four weeks, I sat outside in the park, reading the first chapters of the book. After a while it started raining, the kind of rain that turns into small diamonds as they hit your wool tights, and that gives the sunny air a wonderful fragrance. When the clock turned four I met up with a nice one and had dinner at a place we'd heard of. The chicken salad was delicious!
